The Beginnings
How Embraced Soul Healing Practices came to be...
Embraced Soul Healing Practices was created out of a deep desire to continue my own personal healing journey, as well as help others along their journey to healing and wholeness.
The conception of creating my Soul Sanctuary Farm developed first. Over time, through studying and experiencing different healing practices in my own life, it evolved into the next phase, and Embraced Soul LLC came into being. “Embraced Soul” refers to the soul being lovingly held in the hands of the Divine. For me, this is choosing to rest in God’s embrace and trusting in His love and guidance.
Embracing one's soul is to live in 100% alignment with one's values. It is fully accepting oneself – all parts of self. It is recognizing your unique essence, your strengths and weaknesses with compassion and self-love. It is believing in the ability to heal and transform. I believe that when one embraces their soul it leads to a sense of wholeness, inner peace, and purpose.
Embraced Soul Healing Practices recognizes that our four bodies – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – are all interconnected and seeks to help others discover how to alchemize stress, restore balance, and heal wounds from the past in order to embrace a life of wholeness, deep inner peace, joy, and of course, love.

My Story
From my earliest childhood memories, I always had an innate knowing that helping animals was my reason for being, my purpose in life. As I got older, it became helping both animals and people. I now understand that purpose is not singular, and you can have multiple purposes or callings and that they can change throughout your life.
I've always loved horses deeply. There is something so magical about being in their presence that it is hard to put into words. Horses have been and still are some of my greatest teachers. I have been a student of movement since I was very young. Ballet training and riding lessons began at age five. Intrigued by how the body moves, flows through space, creates interesting lines, and how it feels - the physical and emotional sensations of leaping through the air, turning, or partnering with another to create movement together - has driven a life-long pursuit of understanding the mind-body connection. Having 30+ years' worth of movement training (multiple forms of dance, yoga, conditioning techniques, horseback riding, etc.) and studying bodywork modalities instilled in me a heightened sense of body awareness. I am grateful for this gift as it prepared me to seek answers outside the box when my health suddenly changed.
From an autoimmune condition diagnosis, to spinal surgery, to unexpected post-surgery complications, to a pulmonary embolism, my body systems unexplainably shutting down, and a long trek climbing out of that deep hole... I discovered that the body is trying to speak, and when you tune in, you can begin to learn a lot about yourself. I learned that pain and illness is not always just from a physical cause or injury. I realized that if I was going to heal my physical body, I would have to dive deep into all root causes. I would have to go on healing journey for wholeness and look at my mental, emotional, and spiritual wounds as well.
The past 5 years have been filled with physical and emotional pain as well as drastic lifestyle changes. Simultaneously they have been my most transformative years thus far, and I am grateful for my life today. Once I caught my breath from grieving the loss of my career and my ability to dance, ride and move the way I once did, I began to understand these painful experiences were preparing me to step into my next calling as a healer. I would have never met or learned from the multitude of healers – holistic doctors & nutritionists, a qigong master, a reiki master, a psychotherapist, gestalt coaches, spiritual mentors, and one extraordinary veterinarian – that have forever impacted my life for the better had I not gone through these experiences. I can look back now and see how God has been weaving the pieces together. As I continue my own journey of healing and transformation, I share the wisdom and knowledge I gain to help others along their way as well.
